Our prime objective at Altec is to provide a safe and healthy place of work for all staff members and meet our obligations to visitors and customers whilst on our site.

It is our intention to protect employees from accident and ill health at all times. Safety begins with induction courses for all new employees where they are made fully aware of our Health & Safety policy. We use a Health & Safety training matrix to ensure that everyone is aware of their duties and responsibilities and this is reviewed on a regular basis. All Altec employees are issued with appropriate PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection.

The Altec Engineering Health & Safety Policy Document is a comprehensive well written document that advises our staff on over 30 individual H&S Concerns.
